The Economic database of the Spanish Public Sector (BADESPE) was created by the Institute of Fiscal Studies in order to make accessible the most relevant economic information about public sector activity. It contains information from all of Spain and for smaller areas: Autonomous Communities, local corporations, chartered territories, etc.

BADESPE was created to make accessible the most relevant economic information about public sector activities. It contains information from all of Spain and for smaller areas: Autonomous Communities, local corporations, chartered territories, etc.
The information is organised in subject areas, listed at the top of this page, in the form of time series of annual macrodata with information, wherever possible, starting from 1980. The quantitative information is associated with a set of complementary information (metadata) help in understanding and interpreting it.
All the data can be downloaded free in the form of Excel spreadsheets.
