The Institute of Fiscal Studies (IEF), as a promoter of research on matters relating to public finance, designs courses and training activities to improve the quality of research, whether through its methodology, its orientation to knowledge of the various techniques of research, or by contributing to the debate and analysis of the most relevant and topical aspects of the field of public economics. These training activities are carried out independently by the IEF or in collaboration with other institutions.

The IEF regularly organises different seminars intended to serve as a meeting place for sharing research experience and consider together various relevant or topical subjects relating to the main lines of work of the Institution.
